Rick Marencic, IIDA NCIDQ
Rick's experience in the practice of interior design spans more than 30 years and includes all phases of design - from initial concept and documentation to construction administration and project closeout. Rick’s vision and focus on design excellence are demonstrated by his creativity and delivery of memorable environments that are tailored for each client’s identity and market. Rick is a driven leader whose exceptional talent for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams is only matched by the intensity he brings to the development of innovative design solutions and seamless client service. Rick takes a leading role in establishing goals, collecting information, determining needs, researching issues, seeking solutions and developing on-trend design solutions. His technical abilities include coordination of ADA, resolution of life safety issues with project team, FF&E selection and quality control review of FF&E specifications; on-site construction observation including shop drawing and submittal review; and quality control and quality assurance.

Rick received a BFA from the University of Michigan, is a highly respected member of the hospitality design industry and has been recognized for his creativity, breadth of knowledge and passion for business. He has won numerous awards, his work has been covered by leading news and industry publications and he has been a contributing speaker at industry conferences. In 2016 he was a Sandler Seating Venice Chair Competition winner.
