Nate Tuttle, AIA, LEED AP is an Associate Principal and Director of Practice Standards at JCJ, where he works across the firm to strengthen the technical quality, consistency and integrity of project documentation. Through leadership in practice standards, project specifications, BIM management and quality assurance, Nate focuses on establishing the framework for teams to accurately translate design intent into comprehensive contract documents.
Curiosity, technical depth, collaboration and an enthusiasm for problem solving are qualities that lie at the heart of Nate’s approach to practice. Working across the firm’s design enterprise, he leads the ongoing development of practice standards, advances BIM workflows, oversees project specifications and helps guide the adoption of evolving technologies and methodologies. His work provides a consistent technical foundation across the practice, helping project teams produce coordinated and reliable contract documents.
Before assuming the role of Director of Practice Standards, Nate served as a Project Architect on projects across the education, civic, community, gaming and hospitality sectors. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams University and is a registered architect in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and Florida.
