Matthew Horn, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is a Managing Director and Senior Project Architect at JCJ. Working closely with firm leadership and project teams across offices, Matthew helps align resources, strengthen project delivery and provide the support teams need to deliver exceptional work. Known for his thoughtful leadership and measured approach, he brings clarity to complex situations and helps create the conditions for teams to do their best work.
With more than 18 years of experience, Matthew has led projects ranging from small renovations to large, complex developments. His ability to assess situations, combined with a strong understanding of people, process and project delivery, enables him to identify challenges, establish priorities and keep teams moving forward. Colleagues value his ability to listen carefully, ask the right questions and focus conversations on the issues at hand.
Working closely with Barry Goldstein and Mary Faria, Matthew plays an integral role in balancing staffing and resources across JCJ’s national practice. A respected architect, he understands that successful projects depend on both strong teams and disciplined execution. His perspective is grounded in years of experience developing construction documents, resolving complex technical challenges, maintaining design integrity and guiding projects through construction. He draws on that experience to align talent with opportunity, support the professional growth of staff and help teams navigate changing priorities. Matthew is known for his composure, sound judgment and ability to provide perspective.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma and joined JCJ in 2021.
