Doug Roberts, AIA, LEED AP is a Principal and Senior Project Manager with over 30 years in practice. Having worked with a wide range of building types and delivery methodologies, Doug is known for a straightforward, empathetic and consistent style of communication and management. With a unique ability to identify variables on a broad range of project issues, Doug is an articulate advocate for developing solutions that maintain design integrity, meet client objectives, preserve schedule and budget expectations and contribute to the quality of the built environment. Doug is passionate about his work as an architect and an advocate for stewardship of resources – whether being entrusted by an owner to maintain project quality and controls, or keeping project teams functioning effectively and collaboratively or taking action to deliver projects that maximize sustainability and efficiency - his dedication to the practice of architecture and passion for design has earned him the respect and trust of his peers and clients.
Doug has worked with client and projects in civic, municipal, public safety, mixed use, healthcare and education. He is has been certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University and a Masters of Architecture from The Ohio State University and has been a member of the JCJ team since 2006.
