JCJ’s most recent project with the Choctaw Nation was a design-build effort for a major expansion to their existing resort property in Durant, Oklahoma. Building on an extensive portfolio of work in the regional market and national credentials in design for gaming and entertainment, JCJ undertook this project alongside the design-builder, Tutor Perini Building Company.
The expansion significantly increased gaming capacity and includes a new 1,000 key hotel, retail space, conference facilities, multiple restaurants, movie theaters, resort style pools, multiple entertainment venues, and a new parking garage. The fast-track schedule allowed for a lightning-fast 30 month design and construction timeline.
Having worked most recently with the Nation on their Cultural Center, Wellness Center, Public Safety Headquarters, and Maintenance/Facilities Building, it is a testament to our strong relationship to have been selected for this new endeavor.
