JCJ Architecture recognized by The University of Hartford
In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act, the University of Hartford has organized a series of programs and events designed to encourage reflection, dialogue, and action in civil rights and social change .

As part of this event, JCJ was recently honored by the University for its contribution to empowering change and leading the way to innovation through engineering, technology, science and architecture. The firm has recognized alongside NASA, Pratt & Whitney and Newman’s Own Foundation – all exemplary organizations that have demonstrated a lasting commitment to driving collective achievement and personal accountability for excellence.
JCJ has been a key supporter of both the University of Hartford, students from the City of Hartford, the University of Hartford’s College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture and to the wider dialogue on architecture and design. The firm has been a long-standing supporter of the Hartford Scholars Program – which provides half tuition scholarships to students who live in Hartford and graduated from a Hartford public high school. The University’s Architecture Lecture Series – made possible by the JCJ Architecture Endowment of the University of Hartford – brings speakers to the school to explore the role ideas and design play in contemporary society.
