Residence Inn Fenway Boston Renovation

JCJ provided Interior Architecture and Interior Design services for the 2022 renovation of the guest rooms at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Back Bay Fenway, followed by a renovation of the public spaces in 2024.

Located just steps from Fenway Park, this extended-stay hotel sought to infuse its newly renovated suites with the charm of old Boston. From the wall finishes and custom case goods to the geometric motifs in the carpet, every design element reflects the essence of Boston’s historic landmarks, beautiful scenery, and love of baseball.

The result is a stylish, all-suite hotel that serves as a tribute to the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. Remarkably, the guest room renovation project was completed in just three months—three days before the 126th Boston Marathon and one week after MLB Opening Day at Fenway Park, perfectly timed to welcome visitors during two of the city’s most iconic events.
