This project was a component of the transition being made by the former Saint Joseph College to becoming the new University of Saint Joseph. The newly accredited School of Pharmacy was the University’s first departure off its suburban campus, creating a new presence in downtown Hartford. JCJ was commissioned to develop a building program and design the project to be implemented in two phases. The tenant fit-out project includes “in the round” technology, advanced classrooms for up to 100 students, a fully equipped teaching laboratory, mock pharmacy, faculty research laboratory, administrative areas, faculty offices, a modest library and student lounge.
