A Catskills Destination. Reborn.
JCJ Architecture is providing comprehensive planning and design services for Resorts World Catskills, a large-scale, multifaceted development located just one hour north of New York City. JCJ Architecture worked with the casino team to develop a comprehensive response which exceeded the requirements of the New York State Gaming Commission’s RFA (Request for Applications) to win the highly competitive gaming license for this property.
Set on the 1,100 acre site of the once world-famous Concord Resort Hotel, the 1.6 million square foot project is planned to include a casino and 18-story hotel tower with 332 hotel suites, including 12 penthouse suites, 8 garden suites and 7 two-story villas, all designed to meet 5-star and 5-diamond standards. The resort will also feature an adult and a family pool, a spa and salon, casino, 27,000 square feet of meeting and entertainment space, a 2,000 seat events center, pre-function space, and exterior terrace. The casino includes 2,150 slot machines and approximately 130 tables for blackjack, roulette and other games.

Resorts World Catskills will feature many venues for dining including a fine-dining, Italian-infused steakhouse, a 24-hour cafe, Asian market, Asian fine dining, food court, pool bar and grill, sports & entertainment restaurant and bar, two casino entertainment bars, an exclusive VIP restaurant, and two exclusive VIP lounges. This resort development takes a unique approach by offering a mix of adventure and relaxation in a family-friendly setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Catskills.
The casino owner and operator, Empire Resorts Inc has had a presence in the Catskills since 1958. Resorts World Catskills is part of Adelaar, a $1.2 billion integrated entertainment and lifestyle complex.
