An Urban Hotel with Organic Details

Located on a unique site, the exterior design required the use of a Sky Plane technique to mitigate shadows on the neighboring homes.

Once inside, guests will enjoy a modern, urban hotel with organic details. Set against the stacked stone, wood look ceramic tile, and brushed gold metal, versatile seating groups featuring rich blue and gold textiles grant opportunities to socialize throughout the public spaces.

This palette is carried into the guestrooms providing a casual and inviting home away from home. Both the Town’s context and the site’s complexities were all integrated into the clean, modernist architecture and deluxe finishes.

While the location is an invaluable asset for the property, the site also presented significant logistical challenges for the project team. The building occupies the entire lot and the hotel’s front face extends to the curb of Boylston Street at its busiest section.

Existing historic brick culverts and clay utility lines run beneath the site which required meticulous coordination to protect the integrity of the structures.
