Harry Wheeler, AIA is a Principal at JCJ with more than 30 years of experience leading the planning and design of hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments and hospitality destinations. Recognized for building lasting relationships throughout the hospitality industry, Harry partners with owners, operators and global brands in creating hospitality environments that balance memorable guest experiences with operational performance and long-term value. His collaborative leadership style, deep industry knowledge and extensive professional relationships have made him a trusted advisor who connects owners, operators, brands and project teams across the hospitality industry.

Before joining JCJ in 2023, Harry served as Owner / Principal of Group One Partners for over 20 years. Over the course of his 27 years with the firm, he led multidisciplinary teams, advanced complex hospitality projects through design and regulatory approvals and played a central role in business development, practice growth and client relationships. His experience working alongside owners, operators and industry partners has given him a thorough understanding of design, opportunities and challenges and evolving expectations shaping today’s hospitality and development market. As a frequent speaker at hospitality and design conferences, Harry is recognized for sharing insights and thought leadership on design, development and emerging industry trends.

Harry earned Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degrees from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, Harry has been committed to supporting local civic and educational initiatives, including service on the Advisory Council for the Town of Weymouth and the Wentworth Institute Professional Advisory Council, where he mentors the next generation of design professionals. He remains actively involved in professional organizations, including the Boston Society of Architects, the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the Massachusetts Lodging Association, and the National Architectural Preservation Society.

In 2025, Harry was inducted into the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), recognizing his contributions to the hospitality industry and joining an international network of leaders advancing the profession.
