Westerly Police Headquarters

JCJ provided full planning and design services for this new 28,000 sf police facility. JCJ assisted with a comprehensive programming, site analysis and test fit process that resulted in identification of a site that offered a central location with ideal access to all areas of the town, availability of parking, opportunity for future expansion, program flexibility, ease of building security and hardening and access to existing water and sewer infrastructure.

The new building is located on three acres with both service parking for operational vehicles and staff, as well as separate visitor parking. Interior spaces accommodate the needs of all police functions in an efficient, secure manner along with separate, accessible areas for emergency operations, training, and related services.
