Choctaw Wellness Center

The Choctaw Wellness Center in Durant is one of a network of 14 centers distributed across Choctaw Tribal lands. With a mission of enhancing the lives of Tribal Members and employees by providing opportunities to develop healthy, successful and productive lifestyles, this facility provides a state-of-the-art environment for a full range of fitness, cardio, strength training, and wellness activities. Flexible multi-purpose studio spaces accommodate dance, yoga and other wellness seminars, and a second level indoor walking and running track circles the perimeter of the full-size gymnasium basketball and volleyball court.

The Durant center features an unusual building form, dramatic curtain wall, standing seam roof, stone stair tower element and Glulam beams. Light, bright and open, the facility creates a dramatic environment for the pursuit of Tribal fitness and wellness programs.
