”A Great Old Barn”…That’s how hockey people describe an arena full of energy, memories and character. Every player and coach wants to play in one; every fan wants to experience a game in one.

Our design for the long awaited new hockey arena draws on the rich history of the game to provide student athletes a state-of-the-art Division 1 training facility and game venue. The heart of the new arena is the training facility for the Men’s and Women’s Varsity teams. Separated from the public spaces, the training facility has its own unique entry to greet student athletes. After passing through a lobby filled with images of the UConn’s hockey programs past and present student athletes will find state of the art facilities to rival any D1 program. Each team has a complete locker suite with lounge and dining areas, changing rooms, wet areas, and locker rooms.
