JCJ Architecture provided Architectural Services for the Connecticut River Academy Magnet High School Advanced Manufacturing Annex on the Goodwin University campus. Located along the Connecticut River in East Hartford, this state-of-the-art laboratory facility will provide students with hands-on experiences featuring cutting-edge technology and tools. Students work with university faculty starting in grade 9 and can take courses for college credit starting in grade 11, as the curriculum crosses the divide between academic and real-world learning.
This $10.5 million project will involve a 15,340-square-foot stand-alone building that will house the educational annex connected to the university’s Connecticut River Academy manufacturing program. Construction was with completed in August 2019.
