JCJ Architecture has been engaged to provide Architectural Services for the Connecticut River Academy Magnet High School Advanced Manufacturing Annex on the Goodwin College campus. Located along the Connecticut River in East Hartford, this state-of-the-art laboratory facility will provide students with hands-on experiences featuring cutting-edge technology and tools. Students work with college faculty starting in grade 9 and can take courses for college credit starting in grade 11, as the curriculum crosses the divide between academic and real-world learning.
This $10.5 million project will involve a 15,340-square-foot stand-alone building that will house the educational annex connected to the college’s Connecticut River Academy manufacturing program. Construction is anticipated to begin this April, with completion in August 2019.
