JCJ Architecture master planned and designed Choctaw Landing to be an entertainment-focused resort. With a regional draw from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana, the destination offers an atmosphere of ‘home’, a place where guests can recharge and return to the surrounding area to explore nature, history, culture, and art.
The program of the resort features 100 new hotel rooms, 600 slot machines, eight table games, multiple restaurants and bars, a pool, an outdoor venue with amphitheater, beer garden and a family-friendly game zone. In addition to the resort, an adjacent 12,000 sf mercantile experience will offer a grocery store/market, three additional dining options and a fuel station.

JCJ teamed with contractor, Manhattan Construction Company, to realize this planning effort. JCJ and Manhattan have previously completed the Choctaw Cultural Center and the Choctaw Wellness Center together. Fostering this strong collaboration provides the Tribe with a cohesive relationship between designer and builder, creating efficiencies, savings, and speed to market, throughout the master planning, design, and construction processes.
