Richard Westwood is a Senior Associate and Project Director. He is an accomplished Architect with over twenty years of experience in project development, design, regulatory approvals, construction documentation, construction administration and management of the overall project process. He has worked extensive on the modernization and reconstruction of educational facilities and has assisted school districts in securing State funding for facility improvement programs. With a broad range of skills and expertise, Richard has a knowledge of the complex Division of The State Architect submittal process, application forms and ADA requirements, and he has worked with school districts to develop master planning and needs-based analysis for implementation of funding and construction. Richard has guided project teams and has partnered effectively with clients from the earliest states of project development through to the Construction Administration phase - valued by both client and contractor for his ability to resolve issues and maintain open lines of communication. Richard holds a B.Arch from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts from Idaho State University. He has been a member of the Los Angeles architecture and design community for over 25 years. He is NCARB certified and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
