Mark R. Griffith is a Managing Principal and is responsible for the strategic management and leadership of JCJ’s San Diego and Phoenix offices. A highly respected and experienced architect, Mark has successfully led project teams on a wide range of projects with an emphasis on hospitality, retail, mixed use, entertainment, high-tech manufacturing, education, healthcare, aviation and residential. Mark’s versatility stems from more than 20 years of experience across all areas of the building industry from architecture and interior design to real estate acquisition, construction, design-build, land development, entitlements and facility management; notable projects include Hotel Bel Air, Vdara at City Center and Metreon. Mark has a B.S. degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from California State University, Fullerton. He is an active member of Urban Land Institutute (ULI) and Boutique Lodging and Lifestyle Association (BLLA) and has spoken at ICSC or his projects have been featured in Architecture and Urbanism.
